Edu Awake

is the Erasmus+ Programm of the Yoga Academy Freiburg

Our goal is to integrate mindfulness, yoga and resilience into teacher training across Europe. We develop Erasmus+ projects that create a pathway from KA1 mobilities to KA210 partnerships to KA220 curriculum initiatives. We want to support teachers and educators through innovative collaboration – to promote personal growth, professional resilience and intercultural dialogue.

What we do

For over 16 years, the Yoga Academy Freiburg has been offering comprehensive training courses for yoga teachers and therapists, as well as a wide range of other courses and seminars. We work internationally in close partnership with the Professional Association of Independent Yoga Teachers & Yoga Therapists (BdfY e.V.).

Our Network 

Through Edu Awake, we are expanding this experience into European cooperation – in conjunction with yoga centres, schools, universities and other educational institutions, as well as partner projects abroad. One of our current international initiatives is the Yoga Academy Freiburg – Zurich project, which highlights the expansion of our transnational network.
